Danish thrashers Hatesphere have entered Antfarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All, Moonspell, Dark Tranquillity) to begin recording their eighth album for a late 2013 release.

The first in a series of video updates from the studio can be seen below.

Hatesphere's latest Cd, "The Great Bludgeoning", entered the official chart in Denmark at position No. 40. The group's previous effort, "To The Nines" (2009), landed at No. 36 while 2007's "Serpent Smiles and Killer Eyes" debuted at No. 26.

. The cover artwork for "The Great Bludgeoning" was created by Mircea Gabriel Eftemie, who has previously worked with Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad and Mnemic (for which he also plays the guitar).

Vocalist Esben "Esse" Hansen joined Hatesphere as the band's new singer in June 2010.
